History of our Montessori Bilingual Private Schools

International, private, secular, Montessori and bilingual nursery schools... Welcome to a world open to the world!

Once upon a time 123 mon école...

Created in 2012

After several years of reflection, research and preparation, Goli Aryeh, founder of123 mon école, finally found the ideal space to set up her very first school, in the heart of Paris's 15th arrondissement, a stone's throw from UNESCO.

In September 2012, 123 mon école opened its very first class in a bright, spacious location with high ceilings.

The icing on the cake: there's a large courtyard where children can play outdoors.

On the first day of the new school year in 2012, a dozen or so students enrolled at 123 mon école. The adventure begins...

2012 to 2017: an ambitious educational project takes root

Between September 2012 and September 2017, 5 bilingual classes of around 20 children each were created, from the very young to the very old kindergarten section.

And so, step by step, the school took off, thanks to word-of-mouth from families and the remarkable commitment of the teaching staff, who have built123 mon école's reputation.

And right from the start, the school took a stand by opening up schooling to children from the age of 2, something that was virtually unheard of in the educational landscape. In fact, more and more parents are asking us to do this, as the existing childcare arrangements for their toddlers are not meeting their expectations.

During these years, 123 mon école has consolidated and enriched its pedagogical project, building on the relationship of trust that has developed with families.

123 mon école is an open and contemporary vision of Montessori pedagogy. The school's founder has established a horizontal, equitable management style and a working climate that is both friendly and demanding.

In 2017, 123 mon école in Paris is being deployed on two sites

In 2017, a new private nursery school opened its doors as an extension of the Rue Frémicourt establishment in Paris' 15th arrondissement. Located on avenue Lowendal, it provides schooling for children aged 2 to 3.

In this school, 3 pre-kindergarten classes were created, just a 3-minute walk from rue Frémicourt, a school now dedicated tokindergarten pupils aged 3 to 6.

In 2020,123 mon école will open a new facility in Asnières-sur-Seine, a stone's throw from the Bécon-les-Bruyères train station.
Two schools in Boulogne-Billancourt and Bois-Colombes will follow in 2021 & 2022, now catering for children aged 2 to 6.

The city, as well as the first families who trusted us, show us enthusiasm and recognition. Thank you to them...

Between 2020 and 2022, 3 new nursery schools will be built in western Paris

The passionate team at123 mon école feels its wings growing thanks to the families we welcome, who encourage us to deploy our approach toMontessori education, which is both Anglo-Saxon and open to the realities of today's lifestyles.

In 2020,123 mon école will be opening a new bilingual pre-school and kindergarten in Asnières-sur-Seine, a stone's throw from the Bécon-les-Bruyères train station. A small group of parents, whom we call our pioneers, put their trust in us and enrolled their children. At the time, there were around ten of them. The school, which can accommodate around 50 pupils, is now fully booked.

Two other schools in Boulogne-Billancourt and Bois-Colombes follow suit, in 2021 & 2022, and now cater for children aged 2 to 6. By 2023, each school will have three active classes!

The communes that welcome us, the Rectorat de Versailles, and the families who have joined us, are all enthusiastic and grateful. Thank you for this marvellous collective achievement.

What about today?

More than ten years after its creation, the school has welcomed almost 1,000 students at its five sites in Paris, Asnières-sur-Seine, Boulogne-Billancourt & Bois-Colombes.

We hope to welcome many more children. Thanks to them, we meet so many families, stories and cultures, each more enriching than the last.

It's not just kids who grow up at 123 mon école !

The teaching and educational team

Our educators at 123 mon école have been trained at internationally recognized training institutes such as the NAMC (North American Montessori Center), the MCI (Montessori Centre International) and, of course, the ISMM (Institut supérieur Maria Montessori). Most of them have been in post for several years, and hold diplomas at bac +3 / bac +5 level.

For some of these teachers, 123 mon école is the starting point of a second professional life, a strong choice of reorientation associated with a quest for meaning. Some have degrees in health, sociology, political science or cultural mediation.

The wide range of backgrounds and experiences from which the educators at123 mon école are drawn is both the breeding ground of our school group and our strength.
