The School
123 mon école in Asnières-sur-Seine opened its doors in September 2020.
Starting school at the age of 2 helps children build confidence and independence, and prepares them for the transition to primary school.
The pedagogical foundation is based on Montessori materials, carefully selected to support the overall development of 2 year olds. Other activities, such as art, hip-hop, music and baking, complete the programme.
The children are welcomed in a fully bilingual environment, English/French.

Each week during the school day, Texas native Emily Blackburn leads the children in lively song and dance activities in English.
Children love Emily's original repertoire and her teaching approach that encourages active participation.

Hip-Hop with Séverine
We give children the opportunity to develop their artistic creativity while having fun.
The hip-hop workshop will introduce your children to a vibrant form of dance.
Through hip-hop music and an age-appropriate vocabulary, your children will learn about this facet of urban culture.

Art with Margaux
Each week, the children are invited to participate in a new workshop in which they discover and try out various artistic techniques.
Through artistic practices such as painting, sculpture, drawing, and collage, children are encouraged to engage with the materials in order to stimulate their creativity and sharpen their skills and visual awareness.

Extracurricular Enrichment
On Wednesdays, after school, and during school vacations, a team of Montessori teachers and enthusiastic artists offer workshops on a variety of themes such as hip-hop, sculpture, painting, outdoor games, yoga, theater, and screen-free coding.
Life at 123 mon école
Lunch
At 123 mon école, lunch is a continuation of the Montessori approach to education, rather than an interruption. Mealtime is an opportunity for children to share and learn the rules and customs of living together with grace and courtesy.
Nap Time
Nap time is essential for all children in preschool and primary school. Children are given the time they need to rest, with a scheduled nap period from 12:30pm to 3pm.
At the beginning of the school year, each child is assigned their own bed, with a sheet and blanket provided by the school.
Toilet Learning
Most toddlers have not yet learned to use the toilet on their own. Our teachers care for them during diaper changes and guide them gradually towards independent toilet use.
The goal is for them to be out of diapers by the time they enter primary school.
Everyone needs time to adjust

Located a five-minute walk from the school, this public park is equipped with a swing set, a garden, a slide, and more.
We also organize sports activities here, weather permitting.
Field Trips
Step out of the classroom, go on a field trip, have an adventure!
Every year we organize field trips for children enrolled at the school, through which they discover a variety of fun and cultural activities.
In previous years we have visited the aquarium, the Jardin des Plantes, the Musée en Herbes, the Paris farm, the Jardin d'Acclimatation, and the theater.
Events
Every year we throw several parties to bring our team and children and their families together: one at Halloween, one at Christmas, and one at the end of the school year.
Each year brings new performances and celebrations: puppet shows, a cotton candy stand, balloon sculpting, and more!

" Our three children, Charles aged 11, Joseph aged 7.5 and now Gabrielle aged 3, attended kindergarten at 123 mon école. Charles was part of the first class opened in 2010, we are delighted with this school, the team and the atmosphere. Charles and Joseph are now pursuing an excellent course in CE1 and CM2 in a classic primary school, Stanislas. Gabrielle is blossoming in her first year with Mélanie, who has been watching over our children with passion and kindness ever since Charles.
